Senior Finance Executive
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and other applicable accounting standards
- Manage general ledger operations, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account management
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure audit readiness and respond to audit queries
- Maintain and improve financial accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Analyse financial variances and prepare explanations and reports for management
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting treatments and best practices
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with regulatory requirements

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA (Chartered Accountant), CPA (Certified Practising Accountant), or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting within a full-time role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and accounting principles.
