TOILET OF THE YEAR (TOTYA) 2024

The Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) will hold a meeting with strategic partners for the organization of the "TOILET OF THE YEAR (TOTYA) 2024" Competition and Awards Ceremony. This meeting is scheduled for October 11, 2024, at the Akuamarin Meeting Room, Level 29, Department of Local Government (JKT), under the chairmanship of YBHG Dato' Mohd Fadzli bin Mohd Kenali. The competition aims to raise awareness about the cleanliness of public toilets and to recognize premises that provide the best services.

Purpose of the Competition

TOTYA 2024 aims to:

  • Raise Awareness: Encourage the public to pay attention to the cleanliness of public toilets and the importance of proper maintenance.
  • Recognize Excellence: Award premises that demonstrate high standards in cleanliness and maintenance of toilets.
  • Improve Service Quality: Encourage premises owners to enhance the quality of cleanliness and maintenance of their toilets.


Categories and Prizes

The competition offers a grand prize of RM 20,000 along with a trophy, certificate, and plaque for the winner. Two finalists will also receive trophies, certificates, and plaques. This reflects KPKT's commitment to recognizing efforts towards maintaining cleanliness and providing good facilities.
